Rathfarnham Golf Club are seeking a full-time Administrator & Customer Service person to join their team. This is a  front-of-house role, being the first point of contact for members and visitors to the Club, in person or by phone or email. The successful candidate will provide full reception, customer service and administrative support to all the services provided by the Club.  


Hours of work: Full-time permanent role, Monday – Friday  

Pay: €35,000 p.a. (plus pension contribution & performance related bonus)  


Main duties will include, but will not be limited to: 

 Management of all administration relating to Club membership, including payment of membership subscriptions  and maintenance of accurate member records on the Club systems  

 Processing and control of invoice payments and receipts, ensuring accurate financial records and bank reconciliations  

 Preparation of monthly accounts and other financial information as requested by the General Manager, Club Treasurer and General Committee  

 Assisting with preparation of accounts and other information for annual Audit and liaising with Club Auditors as required  

 Dealing with member and visitor enquires, including any issues or complaints, in an appropriate and timely  manner  

 Supporting Club events as required, such as administration and support for Captains’ Dinners and key social and golf events at the Club  

 General office administration as required.  


Skills/Qualifications Required: 

 Excellent organisation and inter-personal skills, with ability to communicate effectively by phone and email,  skilled at customer relations and a high standard of customer service  

 High degree of computer literacy, including MS Office and file management  

 A knowledge and understanding of accounting practices and principles  

 Ability to multi-task and to work unsupervised, as part of a team and on own initiative   Qualification in administration, customer service or related fields, or experience in these areas, is desirable but  not essential  

 Knowledge of the golf industry and previous experience in a golf club environment is desirable but not essential.
